The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is open to anyone who wishes to teach in the post 16 Further Education and Skills sector. It is not industry specific and this course is for any profession whether you are a Lash or Brow Technician, Beauty or Massage Therapist, Artist, Woodworker or Yoga Teacher. It is open to all. TQUK offers qualifications on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training course content contains 29 chapters with over 160 lessons. There are 120 learning hours for the Award which equates to 10 hours for each of the 12 credits. There is a free preview of the first lesson available if you wish to view before enrolling.

  • What are the requirements to enrol?

    There are no formal Qualifications required to enrol on the Level 3 Award in Education and Training course. However you must be 19+, have access to a computer and be competent in Numeracy, Literacy and ICT skills. This Level 3 Qualification equates to Advanced (A Level) Study.

  • What do I have to do for the Pre Assessment?

    We will require you to fill in an application form prior to starting your course and submit the following documents: Proof of Passport/Driving Licence Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement) and Identity Check Form.

  • Is the Level 3 Award an online/distance course?

    Yes. We want you to enjoy your learning experience with us and do not want you to rush. You should aim to give yourself at least 3 months to complete the award but you have 6 months if you require more time. The total qualification time for the Award is 120 hours which includes 48 guided learning hours made up of a series of online lessons.

  • How will assessment take place?

    You will be assessed by a variety of methods throughout the duration of the Award. There is no formal examination however there are three Assignments, a Micro-Teach and a Portfolio of Evidence to submit. You will be required to upload these to your dedicated online training portal throughout the qualification.

  • How much is it to enrol?

    The course fee is £475 which is payable when booking. This includes your pre assessment, 6 months access to your online training portal, over 160 lessons of course content, Tutor and IQA fees and your TQUK registration fee. On successful completion of the award, there will be a fee of £49 payable to the awarding body for your certificate. As this is an online course, refunds and transfers are not possible.   • What course will I recieve if I pass?

    You will receive an Ofqual recognised Level 3 Award in Education and Training certificate endorsed by TQUK. TQUK is an Awarding Organisation recognised by Ofqual and the Welsh Government. TQUK offers qualifications on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).

  • Can i write my own courses after I have completed and passed?

    You can start planning and writing your own courses whilst studying for the Level 3 Award in Education and Training Qualification. You will need to be fully qualified and experienced in the subject that you wish to teach. The Award will help you to gain the knowledge you need to deliver a well structured, effective training course.

  • When can I start teaching/training?

    After you complete and successfully pass the Level 3 Award in Education and Training Qualification, you will be able to start teaching your own courses. However, if you wish to issue certificates, you will need to gain accreditation for your courses from an accrediting body first. All accrediting bodies require you to have a fair amount of experience in the subject that you wish to teach as well as a Qualification like the Level 3 Award in Education and Training.

  • How long will it take for me to complete?

    It can take 3-6 months to complete the Award in Education and Training qualification.
